Life on the Line
Life on the Line serves as the headquarters for the Marcuccio crime family. Located in South Philadelphia, the establishment presents a façade of a typical catering business but functions as the central hub for the family's operations. The building has a discreet exterior, ensuring privacy and security for its visitors.
Exterior
- Building Design: The headquarters is housed in a nondescript building with no external signage except for a large window displaying "Catering" and a phone number.
- Entrance: Upon entering the initial door, visitors are met with two additional doors. The right door leads to a public restaurant, while the left door, a typical glass entryway labeled "private," grants access to Life on the Line.
Interior
- Bar Area: Inside the private entrance, there is a bar area featuring a long, old wooden bar with high-top tables and chairs. The ambiance is rustic and welcoming, catering to both members of the Marcuccio family and select guests.
- Seating Area: Beyond the bar area, there are three booths reserved for Caporegimes or higher-ranking members. These booths offer a more private setting for discussions and meetings.
- Hallways and Facilities:
- To the left of the booths is a hallway leading to the bathrooms.
- To the right of the booths is a long hallway with a storage door and a door at the end. This door leads to "the room."
"The Room"
- Description: Known simply as "the room," this private area is reserved for the upper echelon of the Marcuccio family. It is a highly restricted space, with most family members never having seen its interior.
- Interior Design: The room features a long conference table with chairs and a seating area at the back with comfortable seating and a wet bar. The décor is simple yet functional, designed for confidential meetings and strategic planning.
Kitchen and Catering
- Commercial Kitchen: There is a door leading from the main bar area to a full commercial kitchen that caters to both the private and public sides of the business. The kitchen is equipped to handle large-scale catering operations.
- Back Door: Near the rear of the kitchen is a back door leading to the alley, providing discreet access for deliveries and exits.
Offices Upstairs
- Stairway Access: A stairway near the rear of the kitchen leads up to the offices.

- Salvatore Trillo's Office: The second office down the hall is used by Salvatore Trillo.
- Vacant Office: The third office is currently vacant, previously occupied by Carmine Baccalieri before his retirement.
- Don Donatello's Office: The fourth office belongs to Don Donatello. It is the most luxurious of the offices, featuring a desk, chairs, file cabinets, a seating area for four, a wet bar, and a full bathroom.
